It's really to bad this is a GMT400 thread. It would be a great thread for a SB forum if it were a SB.
Speaking of which. I didn't want to seem gruesome and get pics, but I wanted to. I seen a 96 K2500 X cab that was towing a trailer when it impacted a bridge @ 75mph from the driver falling asleep with the cruise control on. Not a pretty site at all. The front bumper was flush with the firewall. From the weight of the trailer behind it, it was actually folded in half. The rear bumper was over the top of the cab. The steering wheel was only about 6 inches from driver seat back, but the seat was actually staring to fold over the top of the steering wheel. The air bag was obviously saturated with blood. Not a body part one or piece of glass was salvagable. Every window was broke out of it from the way the whole truck folded and twisted. Luckily only 1 person was in the truck cuz noone in that cab would have survived. Only 1 life lost and it was quick and painless in his sleep.

Not to keep trashing your thread, the saddest part of that GMT400 accident, was that he was from TX. He hadn't seen his daughter in 2 years. His wife had passed away the 2 years ago that he had seen his daughter as his wife's funeral. So he called up his daughter and said, nothing for me here in TX anymore. How about I sell the house, and move to South Carolina to be near you and the grandkids??? That's what he was doing. Moving to SC to be near his daughter and why he was pulling trailer with all his wordly possesions.

Jesus HR, what a thread killer.

Swims, that Rustoleum looks friggin great, I am getting an itch to slop that **** on my POS's frame. It's brushed on right? Damn that looks good. I might even roller it on the bottom half of the body, with a grey or something...

going to be tearing into the front diff. soon. I just order both axle seals and a pinion seal for it since one axle was leaking and the pinion was too.

on hold again, none of the sealsd fit right. The old axle seal that was leaking was due to it not fitting the housing tight enough to make it press fit. The new one is the same.

The pinion seal i just ordered the wrong part number, got the right one coming.

not a clue they just fell in place and won't press fit as they should, the old one I removed was the same way. I think this one will be ok, but I got the right pinion seal on order.

the inner part wheel house area is done with the same stuff I used on the frame, and the top side is sanded and primed, going to be wet anded and painted body color. Same goes for the firewall and the rad support etc.
