Damn, that is good. I wouldn't worry about the shipping. That company probably has a big Fed Ex account and is getting a chargeback on the shipping. These big companies that ship mega mega stuff daily, get deep discounts on shipping. Many times, half of what you and I'd have to pay, so they likely paid $40 shipping. Many shipper accounts are set up to pay and SHOW full price, then at the end of the month after their volume is discounted, its cheap for them.

 The good news is, you won't have to worry about me stealing it. I have to admit, I love what the visors do as far as functionability, I just can't get over the way they look. Makes me run for the Pepto Bismol.

LOL I love the way they look, kinda like having a hat on, looks naked without one.

You can thank my old man for it. he always had one and I grew up with em, liked the look ever since. I actually got that one for free, just paid shipping on it, guy took it off his truck.

You can't get better fitting hoods than that!

If it's not getting painted soon, you will want to scuff the hood and shoot some primer on it. That black coating will actually start to wear off and you will end up with surface rust.

yea I know it will, gonna wait and see what happens, not sure how long before I paint, may just clear over the thing and run it for now. I never had any luck with primer giving me rust portection except maybe self etch or epoxy.

In this case, the primer gives protection to the protection. It should be fine for a couple years if it takes that long. I'm not sure what would happen if you clear over it. Have you done that before?
