New used 83 harness up top and original 82 harness on bottom. Will be using the 83 engine harness to rebuild the original 82 harness.

I got the frame stripped all the way down today and hit it with the pressure washer. It is ready for blasting and then it’ll be paint time and reassembly

Rear differential also got a bath and I was able to see a factory assembly line mark that I’ll duplicate when I start reassembly

Working on the car this evening. I removed the quarter glass, doors, and some of the brightwork.

And the insanity of saving this car continues. Picked up some donors the one with the frame under it was my 1986 GN I lost in a house fire back in 2013. Between my old car and the donor body I’ve got the pieces they don’t reproduce to fix my car plus some for another restoration once the 82 is done.

Is this a g-body grave yard or something? There's several in the background not counting the two on trailers.

The owner of the other field cars is very big in the turbo Buick community some are better off as parts cars some are waiting for there chance at a new lease on life. Pretty much everything is Regals, GNs and turbo regals

It's cool that you old car can be of use.

I saw all the G-bodies and thought it may have been that place called G-bodyparts.com or something along those lines. I don't remember where it was at, I just remember driving past it once out near the coast somewhere.

No this is very inland about 45 minutes from my house in High Point. Gbodyparts is more on the coast side of the state

For anyone that cares this is my old 86 that I lost to the fire. To my surprise the cluster was actually still in it after being stripped to save two other cars prior to me getting it back for my new car.

What’s up guys so I’ve been stripping the weather stripping off the body and what a nightmare those seals have been. Anyway for anyone wanting to purchase a t top car always check your roof and a pillars. I will be ordering the B-pillar patch panels, new a pillars and floor pan as I have a good donor rear section for under the rear seat. Hoping to order these parts maybe in March or April along with getting gas for the welder as I keep putting it off. Also hopefully here in the next two-three weeks there will be a huge item the car needed arriving will post once it arrives.

That windshield frame is probably to blame for most of the firewall rust, I would think.
