speaking of 3.8s. My 81 231 score... building for my 79 grand lemans 400 hp the stock heads are rated 210 hp max @ 120 cfm... I'll be using 84-87 turbo v6 heads rated @ 250-275 hp @ 180 cfm, along with light-weight aluminum pistons, vintage Edelbrock intake, a 390 cfm carb, and some 2.25" headers.

Pimp kyle is tha name & Buick V6s & GM V8 Diesels is mah game. LOL

Good luck finding the banners the Buick power one is a NOS that I found from a Indy 500 collector I will be making a custom frame for it and the Buick motor sports one is from the mid 80s and is the second one I’ve seen the other is in my dads garage

The 3.8 Chevy is a waste of time to use in anything at all. That's what the 4.3 is for, lol.

Wait... chevy 3.8? LOL... do you actually think its a chevy motor?

I'd like to highly Disagree Without the Creation of the 3.8 we wouldn't have the Grand National Period.
So you outta be at least grateful for that.

Chevy had a 3.8 V6 too. It was 229 CID, produced in the late 70's and early 80's. And they were gutless. Although so was the Buick 3.8 of the same time period. But as we all know, the Buick 3.8 improved basically every year through the 80's and often in the 90's too.

All the rodders put a Chevy engine in old fords

I’m thinking you need a souped up flathead ford
That would get some good double takes at a show

Get rid of the restrictive exhaust and super restrictive catalytic converter and the Buick 231 will actually start coming alive. I mean they are still NA and aren’t fast by any means but it’ll get you down the road just fine and I’ve got plenty of power to pass.

I’d imagine you could probably continue parting that body for quarter panels, deck lid and trunk couldn’t you? I’d say she did good to keep other cars on the road :)
