so id need a single 6inch pipe haha


Area = Pi * Radius^2

The math doesn't quite work that way, 2 2.5 pipes flow essentially the same as a single 3.5.

The problem with a single exhaust is a Y-pipe is often not ideal for clearance or fabrication.

The problem with a single exhaust is a Y-pipe is often not ideal for clearance or fabrication.
I wish I had pics of my Y pipe I made out of 2.75” EMT it was mated to V8 swap headers on an S10 just pie sliced it and welded it back together.

The max up and tq wasn't much different but the low end is where the power was made from having the crossover

The graph STARTS at 3000rpm. This info is not relevant to a daily driver.

I think I'm pretty happy with it
And that's what counts my friend!

Few years back a friend had a short box square 2x with a I think 468 built to the nutz and wild cam that started around 4K.
Well all it did was spin the tires and get 3 mpg... he finally changed his cam and put a smaller carb on it. Price of gas and tires as too much,
even for the fun he had driving it.

I see you're from Illinois... I grew up in Villa Park '63 -'73.
