It will give you a more subtle even exhaust note with one, I like when it sounds like you can hear each cylinder fire. Lol

If I just did duals no mufflers and no cats, 1. Would it be obnoxiously loud? 2. How do you stop all that watery stuff from dumping out of the pipes? Thanks.

Well than no straight pipes. I want a deep growling exhaust that's decently loud, with minimal drone, what do I get? Glass packs DRONE really bad, Turbo mufflers are too quiet, MF XL tubular is still somewhat quiet, Dynomax Super Turbo is probably the best turbo I have heard yet, Dynomax Race Bullets sound good! but do they drone?, Dynomax Super Flo any good?, and last Cherry Bomb Vortex howbad is drone?

Race bullets don't drone. Race Bullets are just expensive glasspacks.

I have pypes violators on mine, quieter than glass packs still loud, mounted under the bed, haven't noticed any drone. Maybe the wind noise drowns it out.

I used to wrap my headers, but quit doing it for several reasons. First, header wrap will absorb stuff, mainly oil, that combined with the fact that I have never fully achieved a leak free motor in anything, created an oil fire waiting to happen. Second, most of my headers were always hand-me-downs or the cheap, thinner variety and when I lived on the coast with high humidity, headers were rotted out within 2 years from condensation between the wrap and the tube. Also being thinner tube, headers were always cracking at every weld and had several blow throughs from running slightly retarded with a vacuum leak, tubes get glowing red and with the wrap, not enough air movement around tubes to keep them from melting.
Bottom line on headers is fork out some dough and get ceramic coated thick wall headers and avoid the wrap all together...just my two cents.
