You can do that, or a dual in dual out muffler are what I would do.
Not all manufacturers have the muffler you may want in that configurration, this would allow you to use what ever muffler you wanted.
Was your engine dunked with exhaust or open headers? To me now worth it especially with space constraints on a 4x app was gonna do a cross over above the tail shaft but decided it’s more obnoxious the way it is lolThe max up and tq wasn't much different but the low end is where the power was made from having the crossover

Wouldn't a properly sized single exhaust make as much power as the h-pipe and x-pipe? It's all about scavenging right and those three setups all scavenge, helping the engine to breathe.

It will give you a more subtle even exhaust note with one, I like when it sounds like you can hear each cylinder fire. Lolthat was the engine masters diffrence i didnt do the comparison when we ran mine just figured it was worth it to run an h
