no, that only happens on newer systems with post cat o2 sensors, the tbi system is basic and doesnt care as long as it is not seeing fresh air to the o2.
Thanks, good to know..

I’m guessing they are just another rip off of Flowmasters or a lesser model of the Hooker ones aren’t Cherrybomb and Hooker owned by Holley?
They don't look like a chambered muffler from the breakdown I saw???, the outside looks like them though.

Most performance companies are owned by Holley.

update when you get them. I have been looking for a quite muffler set up to put on the suburban for a while now. The factory replacement has just a bit too much drone for me

@HotRodPC Hot Rod suggested the 454 mufflers, they are big-uns and the photo he posted in that thread I cannot recall the name of, were mounted just at the rear of the cab. They looked to be like 9 inches in diameter and maybe 24 inches long. He may know the actual specs on them. I just know I want little to no exhaust noise when I finally get to that point of having the exhaust done. I see trucks from time to time that are so quiet I want to ask them to stay put so I can look underneath, but it's always at a red light and who would trust a stranger making such a request. "Yeah, sure, crawl under my truck.... :burnout: "
