Check the cucv parts sites. It seems as though I remember seeing one not too long ago.I’d love to find a soft top for my pick up( military canvas)
I will have to do thatCheck the cucv parts sites. It seems as though I remember seeing one not too long ago.
Nice report!so I had an old and aged rough country 4" lift (spring up front and blocks in rear) on it before I went ORD. so that's what I'm comparing it against. I chose to go springs in the rear with a shackle flip for a couple reasons.
1. Stephen Watson at ORD said I should. and he knows square bodies lol
2. my springs were clapped out
3. I wanted 6" of lift. shackle flip is 3" and the ORD springs are 3"
they ride a million times better than my old setup. they soak up bumps like a caddy. I have not gone wheeling with them yet (I just got them installed yesterday). so I cant comment on flexing...but I suspect they will out flex anything I have had. ORD claims 14" of travel
they are 10 thin leafs in the pack as opposed to 3 thick leafs. so far I am incredibly impressed with them.
I am running tuff country 9000 shocks.
I did not move my front axle forward. the new spring packs pin is moved to the recommended spot which does appear to have moved the axle forward between 1-2". I did buy there offset plate and may install it in the rear so I can slide the axle back 1". but I wont be doing that until I get my driveshaft lengthened.
all in all it was expensive. very expensive. but I'm glad I went with there springs. I wouldn't do it any other way now that I drank the kool-aid
Just make sure you have 5 to 7 Ben Franklins in your wallet and a little grease for your bunghole unless your tough like Chuck Norris and can take it dry.I will have to do that
That's gotta be the nicest K5 I've seen on this forum.
Makes me wanna go get me one lol.
Thank you brother. Relative indeed. I’m glad I’m not pricing out new truck parts. My wallet hurts enough on a 35 year old one lol.Nice report!
Expensive...? Well that's relative. See what a set of rear leaf springs cost for a 2016 GM one ton...
I love that dually!!I need some new pics.

I bought my 94 burb cheap and only because i needed a truck asap. I had no need for all that space but i would never get rid of it now. I used it as a pick up and it went wherever i put it. Contrary to popular believe theyre really not big. (Only the turning radius)The interior space is important to me, my wife hauls our 5 kids around in the Burb everyday. The whole family could fit in the crew cab until 2.5 months ago. And well, it's been a while since the whole family could fit in the Blazer.
That is a wild picture!! It almost looks like a painting.Heres my 81

hue/saturation adjustments on photoshop. there are all kinds of filters and adjustments. there is even an option to add brush strokes to literally make a picture look like an oil painting. That is a wild picture!! It almost looks like a painting.
