Oh man, you got all the good ****. That could be my K10/20 and I want to get a long bed stepside. Retro is going to help me find one in TX. I seen the pic of your CUCV on another post yesterday.

Thanks. I love this body style. I would have more if I had the room. I only paid 200 for the long step. Just need new bed wood.

Cool color. Definitely don't see too many around. But the real question is, how much lift ya got going on there?

i bought a rough country 4" kit

it turned out to be a full 6" in the front. there are 4" blocks on the rear.

had to lengthen front driveshaft and brakelines.

i've installed a bunch of 4" kits and never have to mess with driveshafts/brakelines

every 6" kit required longer driveshaft and lines.

i think they shipped me 6" front springs and 4" blocks

but....

it drives great and actually rides smooth.

Yup, it's the lifted thread, we got all the details, even the overbore on the engine but left out the only detail that pertains to the thread. Sup with that? So how much lift? Suspension or Body?

It looks good. I like that color too. I hear 6 inch is what you want with 35's so they don't rub. I wanted to do 35's but I only have a 4 inch so I guess I'll have to go with 33's. Unless maybe I do a 1 inch body lift, then maybe it won't be a problem if I'm not to aggressive with it.

Did you get a set of HD springs meant for the big block or a winch bumper? Could be a high spring rate pushing you up extra high.

You sure that the truck isn't a lot closer than the garage? Gotta think about that distance factor. May be that the truck is just a hotwheels....
