Love this truck other than the mechanical clutch, which I'm currently sourcing parts for now. Once this thing is dialed in...I'm going to wrap it in steel with a cpl winches and call it good. I just got another money pit project.

Great Post Ryan. Nice truck too !!! Looks good. I wish we had more posts like this showing how the lift and tires evolved and how it looked from start to finish. It turned out great.

My 1991 V2500 Burb. Love this thing. Unique Maui Blue color. 6" ProComp lift with 18s on 35s. All the regular goodies...4L80E, etc. Fully loaded with rear a/c, rear heater, rear defog...but of course, the PO cut the lines and removed the compressor and canister. DOH! Still a great ride though.

Haha. That's exactly what I said when I saw the ad in Craigslist a few months ago. I had no business buying another burb...had a decent 91 1/2-ton already (Black GMC you can see in the background of one of the pics)...But a rust free low-mileage holy grail of squarebody burbs came knocking on my door and I couldn't resist!

That's an awesome color and being a 4x4 3/4 ton that really is a Holy Grail Suburban.

I was offered an 01 S10 in that color, 4.3 5 Speed Ex Cab with the ZQ8 suspension not long ago, a holy grail S10.

Yep, the 4L80-E is what makes it the Holy Grail Burb. 91 and 3/4 ton with Auto trans was the only way to get the 4L80-E in a Burb. Previous years got the Th400 in the 3/4 tons.
