Larger steel wheels

New to this hobby.....I have an 85 2wd silverado....im looking for 17 18 or maybe even 20" regular steel wheels in can put a factory 10 1/4" factory poverty cap on. Thank you.

That’s not really a viable option. Maybe Canadian trucks still come on transport wheels though?

Aren't the "transport" wheels just the large steel rims that were used as full sized spares and mounted under the truck?

No, they are not spare tires. Although more akin to a donut spare than a normal spare tire/wheel combo.

They do. And are nice quality. Unfortunately they’re mostly/all smaller diameter steelies. But assuming the OP has a half ton since he wants to use the 10” hubcaps, they have a pile of 5 lug wheels with some in 17” and maybe 18” select styles.

Are you saying the transport wheels are more like donut spares? Why the heck would anyone want those?

I have seen pictures of trucks in the past with "transport" wheels and from what I remember, they look like the steely full sized spares. Not my cup of tea at all, so I am definitely foggy as to what they (the "transport" wheels) actually look like.

It really doesn't matter anyway, the OP has a C10 with 5-lug wheels. The 2wd 1/2 tons never got larger diameter wheels until the 6-lug years.

The transports are all 22" and I believe 8-9" wide. They come on the 'burbs/tahoes/escalades/denalis for transporting them to the dealers, then the real 22s/24s are put on. Not sure why. Lots of 60-66 and 67-72 guys run them. There's claims floating around on the web saying they're not fully welded and to be careful running them but idk if that's true. I know of a ton of guys running them with no problems.

TRANSPORT WHEELS (x4)

$800 set + $400 flat rate shipping anywhere in the lower 48 US. Shipping is extremely expensive because the wheels weigh 55 pounds each. I have a very limited supply and once they are gone, the site will show sold out. I am currently offering one wheel for $200 for those who are needing a spare...
