Just picked up Vortec 062 heads, advice?

And a peice of mind, dont reuse the Newer head bolts, use the old ones, the newer ones are a torque to yeild bolt, and strech out, the old ones arnt.

Gen I small blocks never came with torque to yield head bolts. Either way, at under $30 for a complete set from GM, it's cheap insurance. I normally replace then every time anyways.

I like ARP bolts and you don't have to be afraid of reusing them.

the vortec had a roller cam...lifters are a little taller. Use yours.

That's what I was thinking, so I guess I need to find one single pushrod...
