There are five SB waiting to go into the yard at the wrecker near me (55 miles away) I'm heading there around noon tomorrow. Hopefully it warms up enough to not need a snow mobile suit..

At least your DIY wrecker will getting them. Our PAP sure won't be getting any paying only $200. That means they're going over the scale to be crushed an not parts will be salvaged. All the more reason I need to get down to Austin w Retro to Budget Wrench and Wrench N ****, whatever it's called.

Yeah, usually I hit the one up by I-45N and West.

Their inventory on squares though has kinda sucked lately though.

Hell Yes !!! Finally, found the place. I hope to go sometime next week just to see what's up there. This is supposed to be a new place. I heard of it a few months back but didn't catch the name or location. I just knew there was a new DIY yard in OKC Metro somewhere, and that could be as far as 40 miles away. A friend of mine got told about it and he went today.

Maybe, I usually just go to the truck section and spend the day, but never know, might see something on the way out. There's not many G bodys in the PAP yard here the couple times I've looked for Gen V El Co parts.

Ive been planning on going rachet, but since ive drove my dads, the Factory console shifter is so comfy, the only thing that would make it better is the t release instead of a button. But the Slide shift from reverse to drive then 1-2-3 is about perfect.
Its all a mater of opinion i supose tho.

Btw, i know that thats how most auto's on the floor are setup, but theres just something about this shifter that feels right.

I can't help but wonder, what on earth could possibly be so top secret at a wrecking yard that they don't allow cameras/pix ??

Liability !!! They don't want someone in there taking pics for a lawsuit of some sort. People can set things up themselves in there to stage accidents and try to hang the yard for it.
