I've been driving past this thing and drooling over it for years. Drove past today and it's for sale! The guy only wants 2K for it. Looks like an older restoration, biggest flaw is rust bubbling along the lower body. Body is straight, floors and frame are rock solid, interior is very basic but decent. 350/th350/np205 that seems to run like a fine Swiss watch. Original 4x4 too, not a conversion. With any luck, it will be for sale long enough for me to gather up enough cash.

Go Get It Money Bags !!! You're a bodyman. A little rust shouldn't bother you to much. Give it a good home. It'll be a nice addition to your collection. I'd love to find a NO Window 64-66 one. I've only seen 1 I would absolutely hurt someone real bad for, it was a 66 3/4 ton GMC with no Windows except the back 2 on the barn doors. That's EXACTLY what I'd want. But, I'd settle for a half ton if I had too. I'd even settle for a Chevrolet, but GMC is my preference to get the rear Leafs and 4 headlight GMC grill. And I like the GMC dash better too.

Lol, I spent all my money... I need to make some more. This one would be a VERY easy restoration. It comes with another set of doors too. I can't believe how clean the frame is.

I'm with Retro! I'd be throwing a bunch of stuff up for sale and getting that GMT800 moving on to get that thing snatched up!!

I do have some things I need to sell. I just posted the Silverado on a local 4x4 forum, I can copy/paste it elsewhere.

Buy it! Buy it now! :Sumo: :insane:

Just get rid of that awful roof rack and those newer mirrors and you'll be set.

This thing sold the next day I think. Not surprised though for only 2K.

...But the sickness is back. A guy offered me a trade for my '99 Silverado, he has a '78 Nova coupe with a GM crate 454, a th400, an 8.5 posi rear, frame ties, Weld wheels, etc. It's a project car that needs finished. The last thing I need right now is another project... but I'm seriously considering it. A big block Nova sure sounds like fun.
