my 400 is mated to a th400 and has a 2jet

quite the tire rotator i tell ya(Ive never seen it run either lol so I guess I cant tell ya)
Well get on it then! Just because it doesn't run now doesn't mean you can't make it run. Get out there and do some ugly ass grand am burnouts with that beautiful 400! If you lived closer I would come over and demand you fix it. Can't let the poor thing rot, you got FORDS that run FFS but you won't even fix the Pontiac. Shame on you
lol

Not to resurrect a dead thread but...IMHO between the Camaro and Firebird its the Poncho
for the win,and I own a Camaro!
BTW there's an EXCELLENT book by Rocky Rotella,I can't find my copy right now but it gives
a lot of good info-production data trim codes, and dicusses the mid 70's 400 block issues
and how Pontiac fixed them.Great book if you can find it.

Just for reference purposes, this one sold yesterday on Bring A Trailer for $57,000. It doesn't even have the pinstripes so it's not a "perfect" car.

I had a '73 'bird that I drove in my early 20s, turned it into a dirt track car when I was in my 30s, sold it when I was in my 40s, race ready,
and now I have a 3rd gen 1985 Trans Am that I am getting started on restoring. It was my wifes car many years ago. I will put up pictures. I didnt realize there was a Trans Am thread...

This isn't a general Trans-Am thread, it's my personal build thread for the T/A I am very slowly working on. But hey I love Trans-Ams regardless, so feel free to post pics of some other cars. Hell, maybe seeing this thread bumped now and then will remind me to get my ass back to working on the car lol

Lol i feel this. Did my full suspension swap, ford 9", corvette brakes and chassis mods. Car needs a new driveshaft now to use stocl motor with new rear end (temporarily until my standalone ecm arrives for engine swap) and i couldnt be bothered to go take the driveshaft off or bleed my brakes in this heat.

I did try to start the car last night and battery was dead :( which annoyed me enough to kinda get motivated. I'm buying a house with a separated garage with an apartment and been focusing on that lately.

I didnt buy new a-arms out of everything, literally only bit of suspension not purchased. I regretted it so much i went and bought them (especiallysince upper ball joint needs replacing). So ill be doing the front setup all over again lol. Hopefully will come apart easier than the 41yr old spindle let loose from the stock arms.
