I still wanna know what a front sump is?
so for my upcoming 5.3 and 4l60e swap, what kind of carburetor do you recommend? IM thinking ill put a 2 barrel on an adapter plate for a 4 barrel intake and put those on. thoughts??Of course you'll have nothing to shitcan but it'll make it easier for the LS swap.

And, of course, youd have to be on drugs to use an LS instead of a SBC. Even the venerable, hard working, undervalued 305. What a champ!
as long as an engine is OHV and has pushrods and was made by GM, it is without flaw and we love it.Unless you are poking fun at @SquareRoot , you are missing the whole point of the LS swap.
Computer controlled fuel mix and timing control. Good power, fuel economy and passes emissions tests. Not worried about emissions, then free flowing exhaust and a tune, more power.
Not worried about fuel economy, new cam grind and valve train (more money) now you have a rocket.
