Yeah I'm not real familiar with the 2 ton cab floors either but that does sound logical. If that floor is flat the swap would be very easy I'd think!

I didn't realize how much work it was!
Im still gonna look into it. Can you still fit a small pickup sub box in behind the seats?

Yes up there on the "ledge" as that part of the cab goes largely untouched. My main point I like to stress is measure several times and make sure everything is right. Draw out your cut lines on the metal then measure a couple more times before ever cutting. I've contemplated looking for a different set of seats in leather just to add a little more "spiffyness" to the interior but just never have. That's about the only thing I'd consider changing about my interior other than maybe painting the "wood" piece on the dash.

You know the saying
Measure twice cut once.

For me it's usually measure 5 times and cut twice

 exactly! For this it was probably measured at least 10 times or probably more as we were designing how to get them in there and everything and through around all kinds of scenarios. Luckily, we only had to cut once (except for minor trimming). The worst would be to cut TOO much... :sad72:

i can pull the 40-20-40 seat from my local junkyard for under 70 bucks if i can find it.
I dont need all the slide options and the adjustments, i just need the ability of swaying the seat forward, I to like the Seat belt shoulder strap off of the top part of the seat. My seat right now does not slide forward and it doesn't lock so if i stop fast (which it really takes some to stop this beast) the back of the seat flys forward. My friend said he might give me his out of his 01 sierra
Im not sure yet

The seats in my truck are mounted on the stock bench seat brackets. My buddy and i fabed a frame that bolts to the stock seat brackets, and the new seats botl to it. Yes they do sit a lil bit higher, but im 6'2" and i fit just fine. All 3 of the seats move forward and backward together, just like the bench seat did.

I think they ate out of a 2000 ish Chevy. They were already pulled and the truck was crushed.

Yes that's why I got them. The only thing I don't like is the middle does not fold down, but the price was right.

Interesting. The middle of mine folds down. I like it cuz when the kids aren't riding with me it's an armrest but if the kids want to go for a ride then it's a 3 seater :)
