TERRY, thank you for the write up.. & pics. I do have a question(s) about the seat mounts - you made? in the pic it shows each bracket mounted with 4 holes. did you "just drill" the inner mount holes (each side of the tunnel)? or are there "dimples" indications for the holes? I am wanting to do similar for my '86 C10....

thank you for the time & keep us posted of the truck.. ;)
I "just drilled" after a lot of double and triple checking measurements. No dimples to make things easy!

Super nice work ..

I'm also a fan of bucket seats ..

My truck didn't have a lot of room for seats and a console ..
The seats I choose to use came out of a 97 full size Chevy pickup, reason was being kind of large they offered a great deal of comfort and allowed for 6-way power bases to be used ..

Had to delete the console, no room for one ..

If anyone needs the console, I still have it ..

Did find enough room to build a ported sound box for a 12" Kicker Subwoofer ..

Found the power units on eBay, the seats I bought didn't have power ..

This is what I came up with for a drink holder ..

Seat covers got a new look back ..

Adjustable Lumbar support is a huge plus ...

Many years ago, I had the old GM swivel buckets in a 79 C10. Fabricating the brackets was a pain, but it all worked out really great

I used SloshTubz' seat base and sliders to mount some '04 Subaru WRX STI seats in my truck and then built a custom console for it. Still need to finish the console

Had to do some slicing and dicing cuz the original seat mechanism has a weird mechanical jacking function that makes the seat go up as well as forward. Cut all that out and used some angle iron to bolt everything together
