I knew they were more than 1 tons, but never heard them referred to a 5/4 ton...

I sort of have my doubts as to this one being legit........

A piece of **** 1975 Custom is not worth $15,000 no matter what movie it has been in.

If you look closely at the screen shot of them in a square, the square is totally different. Dark interior paint, bright windshield trim, tilt wheel, ect. Plus someone did a poor "restoration" as the stripes are way off, the sticker in the back window is completely wrong.

Plus Volo is well known for selling fakes.

Yeah man, that ebay add is very suspicious. First off, if you have a movie car with any significance why the **** would you spray paint the wheels silver?! Why would you do it to any car? I could see a really passionate Star Trek fan buying it for that much but that truck looks nothing like the one in the movie.

You're probaby right. Anyone looking for a CUCV will not find that ad the way its written, and being that it doesn't look like a CUCV... It should go cheap. And get the 14b FF Detroit Locker to boot.:grd:

Yes sir... or ma'm depending on how you're dressed today... The CUCV's are reffered to 5/4 or 1.25 ton trucks. They are 1 tons, but for the military the rating is increased.

DAMMIT!!! The numerator cannot have a higher value than the denominator!!!!!

When you buy decking boards at Lowes they're called 5/4 boards, which is just 1-1/4" thick.
