I can tell you right now the tach in that cluster doesn't work. When the needle is above 1,000 rpms and it's not hooked up it is ****** up. And they are EXPENSIVE to fix, I'm trying to learn how to repair mine myself lol it's that ****** expensive!

But that doesn't mean it's ****** up grasshoppa. That might be where the needle goes without power. Tach in the roll back goes to I think 2K when I shut the key off...

From what I've been reading about these for squares, unpowered they should be at zero. Could have been bad info and hopefully someone will chime in and prove me wrong but I got one here that verified the info I read.

the core support has been replaced with a custom angle iron support.

Custom angle iron support, eh? I bet that looks classy.

Well, I guess I should say they return to 0 when I turn the ignition on...But doesn't return to 0 when I shut the truck off.

Rightk that's how mine in the roll back works. It jumps to like 1800 or 2000 whne I turn the key off. Turn the key on to cylce glow plugs it goes to 0, then start and its working.
