Tried this on the '84 K10 yesterday and it worked like a charm! I just can't believe how much of a difference a little bushing makes on these doors. To think I've been slamming doors on these trucks for years and they could've been fixed in seconds!

We wouldn't have posted it, if it didn't work as advertised. :waytogo:

Guilty. Proud new member! Can't wait to see all the great advice from everyone. Going to try the PEX in a few weeks, if it don't work well, gonna muscle the old strickers off and install new ones from Dorman part#38420 http://shop.advanceautoparts.com/we...iker-bolt--1-2-13-inch-dorman--help_5706602-p

WOW what a differance! Thanks!

My pass side door works great now, still have to shut it a little hard but it shuts more soundly and pops open great!

Drivers door shuts ok, the door is sagging a little and the P.O. welded the door sill a little crooked. I just have to lift the door a little bit and shuts great too.

I always used to wrap my strikers with black electrical tape. It worked great for 6 months or so. Love the pex idea, next time I'm at the hardware store I'm pickin some up. Great idea.
