77 K20 on tons, 40s, 203/205 doubler with a tripple stick. Cross over, high steer with Hydro assist. Sb400 10.5:1 compression, Camel hump heads with a little cam. 73 cab.

This is what it started as when I brought it home... $1200. Now I'm probably $15000 in. After sitting for a couple years, and being driven 40 miles a day for about 6 months the Engine blew. Nothing seemed wrong. Someone cracked a piston. Swapped one head and sent it down the road. I was the lucky guy to buy it.

Lol, silly texans/southerners/westerners- the truck just holds itself together by magic of course! Hah but seriously that is what most old trucks look like where I grew up. That truck has about 10x more floor left than my '84 K5 did (it pretty much literally had no floor, just frame and what was left of the cab supports under your feet, that's what thick rubber floor mats and 2x4s are for if you wanna be classy about it and stop stuff from flying up off the road at you) and that's about what the floor looked like in my '87 longbed (though mine had plywood and carpet covering the hole, extra classy). Yeah it looks like hell, but I never gave it much thought, there's enough stuff bolted to other stuff that everything just kinda braces everything else and it stays in place for the most part. Science and all

It had a 2x4... Then the door wouldn't line up. Thats when it got half doors that were welded shut. It made it one winter. Wasnt a fan of it. The Pacific North Left isint a winter open cabin kinda place
