I guess you could classify it as a rally cross except the surface is ice and snow. Here’s a video. I don’t know what tires the Roadkill guys went with, and I don’t think they did chains. I don’t know what the rules are, but it’d be fun, I know that. They drove from LA to Alaska using the Al-Can highway.

I've only watched that episode 300 times! They bought regular road tires for that whole trip, but in episode 32 (Roadkill vs Subaru) They popped a tire on the Ranchero and had to use the studded tires that they were going to use in Alaska.

That’s right. I remember that now!

This was the shell piece I couldnt swap for same color. I dont know if it comes apart like how a model car snaps together, but didnt want to chew it up too much...

I thought the rear was more involved than it was... Started taking out the whole back part that golds down rear clups, but then saw corrolla removal on youtube. Very same. Just pops in and out on bottom. One bolt just spun so had to vice grip it, but all belts function now...

You are really good at the smaller details. Was it pretty messy under the seats?

Yeah... Feels like they had a polar bear with all the white fur I found.... Could use another vacume...

Today had a little time... Jacked her up... Rims off front... Cotter pins and cage/ crown nuts off. Stock wheels on.. Jacked down.. Wd40 to losen overnight...

Next step was I went under my square and tried to find my axle nut socket but the fender is where tje shelf it is on was so I couldnt get to it....
I went and bought a 1 &3/16" socket but not big enough. It may be 32mm... So we will see tommorrow. Likely do ball joints and cv axles if it goes smoothe...
Also noyiced an oil leak from the bottom of the timing cover. Only at 169k but timing belt was done at 110k. Think it's likely oil pump, or crank seal, oil pump seal. Possibly a speedy sleeve situation. Once that is done should be getting there...

This is the timing belt and seals by oil pump. I just haven't ordered the parts yet.
