Looks good for the money. This is at the junkyard I used to work for, different owners though.

I like a loaded up base model...Needs to lose the farm fugg lights though.

I can do the lights, but the runners would have to go.

I kinda like the options on that one. PW PL Tilt and Cruise but Vinyl. To bad it wasn't buckets. And I'd prefer 4 headlights.

I bought this today. Kinda funny story about this truck too. I remember driving to look at a Burb just like this one that was supposedly rust free, 7 or 8 years ago. When I got there, I found a patched up rust bucket that drove all over the road, and I remember somebody had painted the air cleaner red. That truck always stuck in my mind because of how it was optioned.

Then I came across this one and thought it was odd that it was so similar. When I went to look at it this morning, I started it and then popped the hood. When I opened the hood, there was that ugly red air cleaner staring at me. It's the same freaking Burb! Somewhere in my papers, I still have a copy of the old Auto Trader ad for this thing.

Maybe you're crazy enough to pay $1500 for that boat. Of course the motor is gone. Probably a 440cu in / 727 Torqueflite Trans.

haha....is this how our kids will describe an old minivan in the junk yard when they are our age?? :happy175:

I didn't say I would pay $1,500. Actually, I would never buy it for any amount. I just think it looks cool. I could see it lowered down with some cragars.

I guess when I was growing up everyone had Ford Taurus station wagons that were ugly as sin, so the older one's look cool to me.

Yeah, I was just jabbin at ya :) I could see if the right person got their hands on that how it could turn out cool :) When I was a kid, though, those things were viewed how minivans are mostly viewed today. No one wanted them other than soccer moms toting kids around but now the older ones are becoming more desirable for exactly the reason you think it's cool or could be a cool project. I can see the potential in it too :handshake:
