Some of those D30s were sold to Fire Departments, hence why it's red. I've come across white and blue ones too. I think the white ones were for the USPS and the blue ones were for the Navy maybe. I've seen tan interiors in them too.

That one was repainted but I wouldn't be surprised if the red is the original colour since the dash and floor is red.

Yeah, they started out with Chevies and then Mopar sponsored them so Mike had a Barracuda convertible and Carol had one of these wagons.

Yes Sir !!! That's the what ALL the CUCV's got with Th400 Auto Trans EXCEPT the CUCV's that required a PTO, then those units got the NP205.

Huh. I guess all the CUCV's I've seen have required a PTO, because they've all had the 205.

Why would they build them with a 1-ton frame and axles, and then use the weak 208 t-case?
