Welp, I called and told him I'd take it and he said ok. I asked if Saturday would work or if he wanted it gone sooner and he said Sat was fine. Then the little cockwad called me back 2 hours later and said he sold it to someone else cause they'd come get it today... :mad3:

I'm not mad about not getting the truck, I'm just mad at people's lack of character nowadays.

EDIT: I guess I should be happy he didn't wait until I pulled into his driveway to tell me. Lol.

Yep, deals like that, NEVER sit or ask them to hold. Never sleep on those. Call NOW, Go NOW and tell them you're on the way and how long it will take you to get there.

Eh, he's 2 hours away from me so I wouldn't have had time to get it today anyway.

That fugger just might get it too. Being Diesel and 4x4. You know everyone use to make fun of Geo Metro's and refer to them as disposable cars like the Yugo. You could pick one up for about $400-$500 that ran. Not Anymore. Shortly after Katrina, A beat up 3 cyl Geo Metro that ran was bringing $2000. They've settled down a bit now, but about $1000-$1500 for a fuggin High Mileage Geo Metro. People want them for that 40mpg. They pay for themselves pretty damn fast at today's gas prices.

I wouldn't mind having this one. Too bad someone screwed a stupid visor to the cab...

Not Bad for a Crew Cab. Dually Beds are like finding needles in haystacks though. Might end up either flatbedding it, or standard bed, then cut and modify for dually fender wells.

Put a fuggin wrecker bed on it. Not sure that would work though. Wrecker beds usually need flat rails like a Cab and Chassis have. Not sure CCD's that had a bed originally are flat rails.

looks like the ad says it comes with a dually bed if you'd like and shows a pic of the bed. I've never been big on duallies but I'd still look at that deal and look at converting it to a SRW set up.

I didn't read it all. Skimmed to see it needed some carb work. In a 2wd, I wouldn't mind a dually, but 4wd, I'd want SRW for sure would be my preference.

Yea, it comes with the original bed. I like the fact that it's a 4-speed.

Dually don't bother me, because I have all the parts to convert one to a SRW anyway. :D

Being 2wd, I'd prolly leave it dually.

That seems to be a popular thing to do and I have never understood why...I suppose because they're cheap
