I seem to collect problems, not realy intentionally, but I do collect them. Oh and my wife helps me with my collection too.

I used to collect trucks until the city got on my ass. Maybe I'm sick in the head, but I didn't think it looked all that bad. I kept it neat and clean, all the fluids were drained out of the ones that didn't run. Not like I had parts laying all over the place. This is 5 of the 9 I had. Now down to 5, but 3 are now at my dads. Sold and scrapped the rest.

I would lub me an old but new to me original set of Uniroyal Laredos or Tiger Paw Paw's in a 235/75R15.

If I had a set, I'd damn sure you trade you for your BFG's. I'd be running those til I wore them to chords. Those are good tires IMO. I had a set of 33x12.50x16.5's on my 64 GMC. They wore really well, espeically since I did posi burnouts all the time. :roflbow::roflbow::roflbow:

I would like them for the original look and to bring back some memories. I am an 80's culture junkie.

Yah, I love the BFG AT's. I am the only one that I know of that had a set of them wrapped around a set of 14" rims, smallest size they made at the time, and when I checked a year later they were discontinued.

Do you remember the old look of them before the angled sidewall tread edges? When they used to be straight?

I have a collection too.... That I need to get rid of. I just want the wheels. I don't keep to many old tires. They better be in damn good shape for me to keep them. I"m a freak about tires getting to old. For a trailer or old hoopty that I don't intend to drive on the freeway at 75 mph, I will use them, but nawww, I don't like keep tires around.

I will actually keep them just because they are old. Singles, pairs, sets, whatever. I have no intentions of ever using most of them, I just think they are cool. My favorites are old bias ply truck type tires, old white letter tires, and performance style 16's of the 80's and early 90's.

I used to have a good sized collection...A few NOS tires too from the early 60s. F60x15 Firestones, Some Goodyear Polyglas, just whatever.

I wish my dads wasn't so damn far away, and wish he wasn't such a ****** tree hugger. He has 160 acres. That's 1/2 mile wide and 1/2 deep. LITERALLY, and he's worried about my trucks hurting the value of his property, and the rain rinsing rust off of them getting into the soil.

NO, I"m not even kidding. But you ought to see the JUNK, and I DO MEAN JUNK he has sitting around. But is it what it is. His property, he can do what he wants with it, and he wonders why noone comes to visit. We can't even listen to a fuggin car stereo out there, kicking back in the lawn chair next the pond with a fishing pole and a beer. Turn that ****** **** off, enjoy nature, get the hell away from the city and all the noise and you have to have that **** box on?? :upyours:

He gets pist when I call him a tree hugger and he knows he is. And when I say, listening to the stereo, it's not blarring it all. It's not cranked up. We're not trying to scare off the fish. Just a little background music while we're sitting an chillin. The kids get on the ATV and take off for a ride on the trails, and he start his bitching, why does it always have to be go for ride, why not go for a walk and look at the plants and the trees along the trail. Just a fuggin tree huggin, redneck drunk. He's owned the property for 16 1/2 years now. We used to go out there every weekend in the spring, every other weekend in the summer, and usually at least 1 and many times 2 times a month in the Fall. Hell, we'd even go in the winter, especially if there was snow or the pond iced over. That was for 3 years we did that, the wife, kids and I, and my bro's and their wives and kids. This was when my dad lived in CA still and hadn't retired yet. After he got to OK and then built his house out there, it's been all down hill since and I haven't camped out there, not 1 time in the last 5 years. My kids don't even want to go out there anymore. Me and my son did go out there for a whole day once, fished, rode the ATV,s floated the ponds in the boat, hunted Beaver etc. Cuz my dad was out of state for 2 days at a family reunion. Pretty sad. And yet he wonders why noone wants to go out there and he thinks its cuz it's to far. ******** !! It's an hour drive. But I'm not driving out there for an hour to find out he's a fuggin ******* drunk and then drive right back home when it cost me $50 for a roundtrip in fuel. If I go out there, I want to stay 16 hours or a whole weekend. Noway I can tolerate his ass that long and of course he has to follow us around and can't leave us the fugg alone.
