I've never been a fan of the CL Want to Buy type ads. If you want to buy then for crying out loud look at the ads available and see if there's something out there that you're looking for!! I'd like to know if anyone has struck up a deal with someone over a WTB ad on CL. I'd bet the % rate of success is minimal.

They do help believe or not. No telling what someone might have laying around and not think to list it. I once responded to an ad for a Shortbed Automatic Driveshaft. I didn't have any shortbeds and no use for it. Emailed the guy, he was here an hour later and paid me $40 for it with yoke.

NO watcha mean dawg. I try to avoid CL now days cuz it's so fuggin depressing. But I still have to look to see what's available, what's selling and for how much, or what not's listed so I know what to list and sell and for how much. Fuggin lately, these longer drives in the roll back aren't doing me a damn bit of good. To much fuggin time to think.

I responded to one and made a sale once, sold a set of polished IROC wheels. Turns out it was a guy I had talked to on thirdgen.org when I posted them for sale. We had a deal worked out and he never responded after that...but CL lead me to him, lol.
