1/2 ton long bed, high sierra... 100 each sounds pretty good to me! ill be 40 bucks away from a free truck with front clip, cab, and bed still left over....

Ill have to find out what the gears are, i think its a 12 bolt but ill have to double check.

thanks for the info

82 should be 10 bolts front and rear. Hopefully it's good ratios. If it's a good ratio like a 3.42 or 3.73, you can probably get $125 each and stand on it. Cuz lots of these trucks have 3.08's and 2.73s'. At $250 for a pair of axles, that's a real cheap gear upgrade and all they have to do is swap axles, and they'll get $75-$100 out of theirs after the swap, so if it's a good ratio, I'd stand on and be firm at $125. Ask $150 each or $250 for the set on CL but be firm on the price.

Yeah, but driving that thing down the road like that is redneck, or desperate!!!

I sure wouldn't have drove it that way if I didn't have to, and I didn't much. But NO, I don't do redneckish repairs. Now just to get home rather than being stranded, I'll make do with what I have and that can look redneckish, but I give a rats ass at that point just to get home.

Even if it was a pace truck hes ruined it now by adding all the aftermarket stuff and taking the originality away from it. If anything it would be a good CLONE but who knows.

Deeeta Dee !!! How bout a gear ratio friggin nut sack???? Anyway, point is, Good deal for someone if he's got 3.42, 3.73 or doubtfull 4.10 gears, makes for a cheap gear ratio change for those who have 2.73 or 3.08's and get a 4in lift kit to go along with it for $250.

Or for those who get rough with their 10 bolts and break axles, carriers etc, and have some spare parts and a 4in lift.

Good deal for someone wanting a Big Block, and I'd like to have this Th400. Motorhome Th400's have straight cut planetary gears. Noisy as hell, but will hold up to 1200hp. Gimme a Motorhome Th400, and some parts out of a 64-65 Th400, and some parts out of a 80's Th400 and it'll hold up to 1200hp.

One of a kind 1974 DODGE/CHEVY QUAD CAB STEPSIDE 3/4 ton 4X4 - $3000 (Monroe)

WTF?

That is 89S's truck. He had that when he was having transition and identity crises. It's not his fault though, so go easy on him. As a boy, his dad MADE him drive a Dodge and nothing bigger than a 225 cu in Crooked 6 motor. This is why his head is always leaning to one side. He worked on the damn thing so much, wishing it was a Chevy, his neck got stuck that way. So go easy on him please. Sad, poor guy doesn't even realize he needs to talk to someone, but he really does.
