Even though it's basically gutless, that's a nice ride! I think the price is fair too.

That motor kind of a turd? I've never seen any info about it.

I think the whole car must be a turd as far as performance. So what, it has a Turbo. Has 1 thing going for it. 3.08 gears with posi. Go Figure !!! Than again, NO OD and it was a Pace Car, so maybe that was the purpose of the highway gear. More top speed than launch power. However, it is a sharp car.

As much glass as there is on that big aquatic display mobile, it's got $1000 in the 5% tint alone.

Good luck! 1990 454SS was never offered with a tach. 1991 was the first year for the tach and 110 MPH speedo.

Yep, he'd have to upgrade to the Yellow Needle gauges from the, shaded rainbow shaped speedo and shaded guages. Some people like those, I didn't care much for it. It was OK, but I was much happier to see full sweep needles come back.

Yep, that's why the Indy will be using a 1991-93 454SS cluster. 110MPH as opposed to 85MPH.

Someone got a killer deal. A married set like that, I'd have taken no less than $250 and actually would have preferred $300. That adapter alone between the 2 goes for $150. It still worked out for me, since it was technically free after I used other parts, but I screwed up and sold an SM465 for $50. I didn't mind selling the SM465 cheap, but I forgot to get the adapter off of it. I could have gotten an Easy $100 for the adapter, or sold it here to a member for $50.

At any rate, you can feel good about it. I've slutted parts out before too, just to help a guy out that I didn't even know and I had already made my money on other stuff, so sold it cheap to get him back on the road and back to work. Believe it or not, **** like that comes back around two fold.
