Stick shifter!! :handshake:

I wouldn't mind that truck being its a K20 and 4 speed. But it doesn't look all that great, and the 305 motor sucks, but its workable I guess. Not sure I'd spend $900 on it though.

need a rear axle?

http://columbus.craigslist.org/pts/2249086111.html

They don't list their location though.

I wonder if that's new in crate, or if its newly rebuilt? And were the gear replaced and is the Detroit Locker new. If its all new, its worth the $800. If its just a CUCV rear end with new bearings, gaskets and seals, then no, it only worth about half that.

Almost certain it's new in the crate. I have seen a few D60's new in the crate, they were packaged just like that. Besides, it just has that "NOS" look to it, not cleaned up and rebuilt.

You're likely right then. Being 4.56 w Detroit Locker, I'd have to sa its likely a CUCV rear axle. CUCV got Detroit Locker, OEM locking diffs got the junky G80 Eaton Gov-Lok.

And its not a square. I been working on this 81 GMC. I almost have all the wiring harnesses out of it now. Just the one going to rear lights and fuel tank switches left. Gotta pull the rear end and trans, then I think I'm dropping it off at your house. Oh and I am taking the glass out of it too except cracked windshield. You better get you a square quick. I am supposed to be meeting the ex in Ft Worth to pick up my son for Spring Break next week. I might just tell her I'll go all the way to San Antonio to get him, if she will drive to OKC to pick him up, then I can drop this truck off to you. :roflbow::roflbow::roflbow:
