Heeeelllllllllllll NO !!! OEM 1/2 ton axles and the rear is a junky gov lock??? $7000??? I'd pay $3000 for the blue truck above before I paid $3000 for this one. Dude is smokin crack !!! And same bad crack at that. Maybe to much bleach in his crack.

so the rear axle is 6lug and the front dana is 8 is that correct?

I think '76 and older 1/2 ton 4x4s had 6 lug D44s. Not sure though.

Still not a bad truck. Its got the good axles in it front and rear, the lift kit looks like good one. With the arch in the rear springs, its not a block lift, its a spring lift. I say its got some good potential and his price is at least in the ballpark unlike some that have a lift kit so they think its worth $7-$10K.

yes, the 1/2 tons had 6 lug Dana 44s, the 3/4 tons had 8 lug. Totally interchangeable.

Thru 76 for sure had Dana 44's, in 77 & 78 it could have been either Dana 44 or 10 bolt in K10 and K20, by 79, all were 10 bolts.

In the rear 1/2 tons, they used 12 bolt thru 81. 82 up were 10 bolts. Also both were 6 lug.

The blue one would be a great buy. Great axles front & rear, 40s, HD rear bumper, a lot of great parts there right off the bat to start with. The red one, well, the guy thinks he has something really special because of the custom interior, I would let him keep it.

Dana is the brand or the manufacture. 44 is the model or series. In the front axle Dana 44 is can be either 6 lug for 1/2 or 8 lug for 3/4 either way and the parts are interchageable. So if you find a 6 lug Dana 44, you can swap hubs and rotors and make it a 8 lug and vice versa. A 10 bolt front, is a GM Corporate Axle made my GM and also available in both 6 lug or 8 lug and interchangeable.
The 14 Bolt Full Float is 8 lug only and is a GM Corporate Rear End. Used in 3/4 and 1 tons.
