Of course you'll have nothing to shitcan but it'll make it easier for the LS swap.
so for my upcoming 5.3 and 4l60e swap, what kind of carburetor do you recommend? IM thinking ill put a 2 barrel on an adapter plate for a 4 barrel intake and put those on. thoughts??

Unless you are poking fun at @SquareRoot , you are missing the whole point of the LS swap.

Computer controlled fuel mix and timing control. Good power, fuel economy and passes emissions tests. Not worried about emissions, then free flowing exhaust and a tune, more power.

Not worried about fuel economy, new cam grind and valve train (more money) now you have a rocket.

Only the good kind!
And, of course, youd have to be on drugs to use an LS instead of a SBC. Even the venerable, hard working, undervalued 305. What a champ!

Thank you, now I feel better.

as long as an engine is OHV and has pushrods and was made by GM, it is without flaw and we love it.

Infact, if people like LS thats great.

I dont hate LS infact, I just think its become too much of a meme to swap the drive train in vehicles for the sake of the meme.

Both SBC and LS have proven themselves as robust and versatile in vehicles stock and modified for many years. One is of older breed and design while one is much younger but not a kid either.

Much like the old man complaining about kids and their damn devil music when he himself was breaking norms by listening to the licentious 50s rock and reading The Catcher and the Rye
They may seem opposed naturally and at odds but really they like the same thing. Sex and drugs and fun.

Wait, we are talking about engines. Power and pleasure.

And common, at least we arent talking about adding a coyote
