I’m gonna guess 56s for a squishier ride.Well, if nobody ponies up I'll measure mine when I get it home Friday..
So 10 bolts got the Gbomb. They should of put them in front rears they would of been good for road driving in the snow. Well I think any way
It looks like it, as long as it wasn't a coastal truck probably is rust free..Yep, doesn't seem to bad. It's riddled with Cali emissions though. Still got the Cali plates. I'm hoping that means rust free.
Kinda what I was thinking..I’m gonna guess 56s for a squishier ride.
Wouldn’t it be the same it’s turning the same direction only the rear is flippedIt probably had something to do with the direction of rotation and that little flyweight deal in there.

I’m not arguing i thought their operational characteristics would work well in that situation. I have an Eaton in my front rear it was a replacement for a Gbomb out of a 90 1500 pick up.But that might not even be the reason they didn't do it, just my guess.
Cali is more than that for trucks. They REQUIRE commercial plates on Trucks. OK, no big deal. My C20 and this Burb would cost me $24.50 a year for a tag.Not to mention the lower weight class for registration. 3/4 ton and up are over $100 I think now IIRC her Turd 150 was $85
I need out of this money grubbing state lolCali is more than that for trucks. They REQUIRE commercial plates on Trucks. OK, no big deal. My C20 and this Burb would cost me $24.50 a year for a tag.
Cool so it's just like the trucks then. I can move the rear hangers back the 4in and use the 3/4 ton rear c6P springs. So what I want to do then is just my same plans I had on the K10/20 project to this Burb, and I'll put these 3.73's axles in the K10 and sell it as a roller. Honky will need this roller with 30 spline axles. It could be 52 or 56. There's holes in the frame for both. Most half tons were 52's though.
The C20 would better suite what I want to do next. Something to slip me narrow dually axle underCool so it's just like the trucks then. Huh? Am I getting in the middle of something I'm not reading all of? I'm pretty sure front axles are NOT driving on the coast side of the gear when going forward. Aren't they reverse cuz gears for that reason? This is why you can't interchange gearsets with front and rear axles. Right? My '88 came stock with 52's.
It would think it's driving in reverse, since the front drives on the coast side.
Front and rear 10 bolt gear sets and carriers are the same only the side gears are different (c-clip slots)Huh? Am I getting in the middle of something I'm not reading all of?
