I bet if I were a bit close to Cali, I could get a fair price outta my K10. It's originally a 6.2 so it's forever exempt from Smog Inspection in all counties.
PA too

It's the wrong time of year to get cash for my rust free C20 cab to someone in the rust belt.

That's why I've held onto this truck so long. I wanted to build this one so if I was to ever have to move back to Cali, I could have the nastiest dirtiest engine lopping off the motor mounts in it and still get it registered and go wheeling in the stomping grounds. But, I just don't see myself to ever be able to deal with Cali politics and all the gun grabber libtards. I'd have to get rid of almost all my magazines a most of my guns before I moved to Cali.

Not to mention the lower weight class for registration. 3/4 ton and up are over $100 I think now IIRC her Turd 150 was $85

Someone start a feel sorry for me Go Fund Me account. I'll pay it back after I change some parts around and sell 2 of my other projects.

I guess I'll throw these pics out there and hope someone else doesn't seek it out. It's straight other than the little dent over the left taillight that I can tell. That faded paint I have a feeling can be brought back to life. Figured I'd put the 454 out of the C20 in it and sell the C20 as a roller for part of the funds.

The codes are specific to vehicles, but I'm using a generic GM list not just a 89 Chevrolet Truck Codes list so there are very minor variances in the descriptions. Like most of think G80 is always a Gov-Lok aka Gov Bomb. Not true. @89Suburban had a G80 code on his Burb and it was an Auburn unit IIRC.

I'm still convinced the original gov-loc had blown up and the Auburn unit was put in it's place. Other than the M1008 with the Detroit, I've never seen a truck that had something other than the gov-loc. Cars yes, trucks no.

But yes, the G80 code simply meant locking/posi diff.

So does anyone know right off hand, the length of the rear leaf springs on a 1/2 ton Burb? I'm hoping I can still use my C6P 56in 3/4 ton rear springs on a Burb too like I had planned on the K10/20 project. I know the front lift springs will fit.

Nice Burb..
Yep, doesn't seem to bad. It's riddled with Cali emissions though. Still got the Cali plates. I'm hoping that means rust free.

It could be 52 or 56. There's holes in the frame for both. Most half tons were 52's though.

I think it started in the 80's.
So 10 bolts got the Gbomb. They should of put them in front rears they would of been good for road driving in the snow. Well I think any way
