I'm restoring an 89 Suburban 4x Silverado. The top end with all fasteners, brackets, components, rockers, etc arrived in one big box. Nothing labeled. Both the alt and the pump are on left side, using a single serpentine driven by the crank. I'm working on putting the alternator and power steering pump with brackets back together on the engine and am struggling to understand how the pump (it is currently mounted to its bracket that appears to fasten to the manifold) secures to the block, head, manifold with what bolts and which studs. I'm hoping the pump pulley doesn't need to be removed like i've seen, because it appears to be on for life.
My service manuals I have are not descriptive enough. Can I get some photos and some direction on this?
Thanks,
Matt
