Hi all. Have an ignition problem I don't know how to solve on my 77 C10 with tilt steering. I replaced the ignition switch a few months ago. The other day at a store, I got in to go home and the key turned all the way, no ignition. So I had to unmount the switch and manually operate it. Got home, then hopped on my bike to run to pick up a new lock cylinder. Put that in, but it does not move the rod that is supposed to operate the ignition switch. Any idea how to dig into that to see what broke and if there's a part to replace it with? Thanks

Most likely the ignition rack.

Thanks. Does anyone have a good youtube tutorial for this? I looked but could only find a video for a later model. I searched some threads here for ignition rack, it seems like people are describing taking more apart than the guy did in the video I found. Though I couldn't really tell because he jumped around a bit. The ignition rack was not his main repair.
Any other parts I should get to while I'm there? I've got the turn signal (for the 3rd time. Standard brand turn signals suck), and I already swapped the ignition switch. I have a new lock cylinder, though that does not appear to be the problem. What else? Also, anyone know where to get a replacement rack? I didn't see it on Rockauto or Oreilly. Thanks
