If the shop you have it at is knowledgeable with the 700r4 you should be OK I would think. The shop that did mine is a well known, reputable shop, but they sure screwed this one up multiple times.
Most shops, even good ones, have little if any experience installing OD transmissions in cars that came with something like a TH350 or manual tarns. I think most assume you will connect OE wiring, and control lock/unlock with throttle position, vacuum, and brake pedal. And if they do the installation, I doubt very many confirm proper throttle valve movement at WOT.
