What's the deal with dual alternators on this one???

near half the truck electronics is 24V

So they converted to a gasser big block, and kept the 24v starting and charging system? That's a different way to approach it.

10-4. That's pretty cool actually. I thought about putting mine back to 24v, but it would only have been for the novelty of it. That's cool that you have other trucks to use the system with as it was designed.

I would go to local yard and get an oem hei, then put a rebuild kit in it. Cheap, easy.

Or 1 of these cheap China ProForm drop in and go set ups. I have one in my 454. Worked great for about a year with very low mileage and the igntion module took a ****, but I've heard of many going forever, and heard of one the guy broke the shaft. It'll get you going though $40. Complete drop in and go. There's several different sellers, check ebay.

Okay so I’m caught up on the powersteering/hydro boost. So I cannot use the pump from the 6.2? How do I hook up the lines if I buy a different pump cause they don’t look the same at all...
