on trucks there is no heater core bypass. The control panel does not have the vacuum valve on hot/cold selector that cars tended to have.

So water IS flowing through the core all the time, regardless of where the heat control is set? Oh well, all I know is the intake to WP bypass solved my problem. And I’m going to do it on my Vette just in case.
