Uh the cashier was a fat blonde chick.........:rotflmao:

Ahhh, so you were a full on male today, and pulled the charm, I love Blonde BBW's card on her ass didn't you??? She didn't have a chance. You probably could've got outtta there with a whole truck for $50. Damn, there are advantages to being a switch hitter.

Oh, anyone that is looking for Suburban/Blazer power mirrors and find a broken one with a good base, I realized something today, Astro/Safari van mirrors are identical except the base and supposedly GMT400 mirrors are the same too (except for the base) :waytogo:

Spent $30 today and got the seat for the van, Hotrod's wiring harness, a new radio for the van (it's CD player is going in my SB), a Homelink module, and some small misc. stuff.

I'm amazed that you didn't already know that :jawdrop: :)

That's probably the only reason they added the option for the last two model years. They basically just used what was already laying around.

I can be a little slow.......... . . . . . . . . . . . . . .. . . .

Hell, I didn't even know power mirrors were an option until 6 months ago.

I didin't either. I didn't think power mirrors were an option until 95, and in some packages they were standarad equipment. I want to say there were standard in all but the base model trucks. But I do know this, in 95 there was a shortage of the power mirrors, so some trucks had them as a delete on the sticker and credit back to the MSRP. I know this cuz I bought a 95 in Sept 94 when the 95 first hit the lot and the bucket seat truck I wanted had the mirror delete, so I ended getting the truck with fold down arm rest 60/40 split bench and it had the power mirrors.

It's funny what we learn about a truck that for years we've professed love.

And I have a 1990 and 1991 truck brochures but it never even registered to me...

So true. Like bucket and I didn't know Squares came with OEM pusher cooling fans. When I first seen that on my truck, I thought WTH, that has to be an aftermarket hunk o ****. Then I looked up the RPO codes and packages, and thought damn, that fan is OEM. And the whole time I was thinking electric fan, that is foreign car junk. Then my 88 Burb has it, and mentioned it to bucket and so does his new 86 3/4 C20 Burb w/ 454 does too. Whoda thunk it??

I know it, I saw a crew cab dually with one today.

I am tempted to go pick up a rear sway bar from a camper special, but what it would take to make it fit would probably be outweighed by buying a set of Addco bars.

Like when I was active on w-body, we came across a 1991 Regal sedan with rear bucket seats and were blown away. None of us had any idea it was an option on the regal, though we knew it was on the Cutlass convertible and the Grand Prix.

Unfortunately 1 keyless entry box doesn't work (typical, i knew this getting it) and 1 LED brake light half works, but oh well. Everything else does work.
