It's "Miller Time"
Best part here is, I live on miller road.

You can imagine, after the successful pickup of the boggers, it was Miller time on miller road.

More tire deals to come.
I found a set of super swamper 40x17x16.5's on 8 lug rims.

Think I'll add those to the collection this weekend.

Had just enough time. To check this out before dark, but after looking, I see now that I only 6" more of lift to clear these it seems but that's with it right at the fender well corners.

So with this total of 10" I should be fine, but I want to be able to flex.
That said, I know know I'm gonna build up from the 4" lift.

Longer shackles in the front, maybe another inch worth of lift block, and another inch longer rear shackle and see how it fits.
I planned on making my suspension adjustable.

I'll illustrate that in a drawing shortly.

So definitely a little too much high life (@idahovette), pretty intoxicated at this point, but I can still map this out.
It's about exactly what I figured.

Using MATH , and actual measurements,
The 10" worth of lift will get the 39.5's to clear, but fender well corners interfere.
That said, it appears I will need to add to overall lift of the truck, and maybe do some. Fender trimming, fender wells measure 32" in diameter, so I will need to trim them out to fit a 39.5"
Which isn't hard or a big deal.

A squarebody will tuck a 35" tire no problem, with a little Room.
But the s10 fender wells are 32" wide.

So I'm gonna do some precise cutting and trim the fenders out so the tires will fit under nicely.

Well there's a set of 16.5's that aren't going to lose a bead. Fat tires on skinny rims!

A classic look that I love.
It's past my time, simply because I'm not old enough, but that "old school" look of a 15-16" rim, on a tall fat tire looks damn good.

While I wait on axles, I think next step is to start making front spring hangers.
Front will be adjustable with the shackle, rear will be 3.5"x6" tubing, 1/4 wall.
Holes will be 1" spaced apart to adjust overall lift

(I have to draw stuff out in cad to visualize it so I can order materials)

Since the suburban is now running, it's time to start gearing towards this conversion.
1 tons will be here late this month or early next (guys out of town)

I bought all the needed materials today to make the entire front spring hanger.... So.... Over the weekend I'll begin welding them up, maybe even tack them to the s10 frame with the leaf springs and the 1/2 axle tube I have and see how it'll look to get a good idea....

That completes that, I just have to take the cutoff and cut them out of the tubing and clean them up, and begin making a spring hanger.

Probably might've been hard to envision the parts since they were in tubing... But here they are cut loose.
