1989 Suburan 5.7 heater hose route

I just put in a new heater core in my suburban,,,,got the blower motor workin,,,previous owner had heater hose from radiator goin to the hose that connects to the rear of the intake manifold,,,,can someone tell me how to properly connect the hoses to the core????

I know the bottom inlet on the core is a 5/8 hose,,,,I think the top is a 3/4 size hose,,,,

Im thinking to run the top 3/4 to the radiator and the bottom 5/8 hose to the rear manifold connection,,,,do I have this correct????? Thanks!!!!!

Yep, that is correct. I assume you still have the short hard line coming off the manifold for the lower hose connection? Let me know if you need pics of anything.

Yep I ran the hard line off manifold to the lower and radiator to the upper. Thought I remembered a line to the top of the water pump,,,,guess I dont need it cuz its been plugged,,,,thanks for the help,,,
