Installed new correct molded lower radiator hose and both heater hoses.
Wanted both heater hoses in red but the local NAPA said red is discontinued and superseded by black. They had 3/4" by 5 feet in red so I took that in addition to the 5/8" by 5 feet black. Not worth a trip to other stores.
Correct lower radiator hose does not touch the ground screw head like the universal corrugated hose did, about 1/2" of clearance:
Pretty quick and easy install, also back flushed the heater core and engine while hoses were off, everything flowed good, and no reddish brown came out. And I found no leaks after idling at temperature for 15 minutes!
Looks so nice for now, I probably will put the battery positive cable back under the heater hoses soon. Can't decide if I like it better over or under. Optical illusion, the cable is not laying on the hoses.
