Great looking first truck. Watch those 454's. My old '86 cab crew C20 would pull anything I could hitch to it, and would pass anything except a gas station.

Keep checking Craigslist for used tires. I used to buy a lot of 235/85 R16's for my farm trailers on there. Who knows, you just might lucky and someone upgrading their truck/trailer with new wheels and tire combo.

Do you have a job? I got my '68 Chevy pickup when I was 14. I spent my summers mowing as many lawns as I could and winters shoveling snow to save money. Little by little, I was able to do improvements to that pickup. I still have it 28 years later. Follow the advice from some of these earlier posts and get all the mechanical things taken care of so you can drive it and save your money to do the cosmetic things later! It will be worth it. Good luck!

Yes sir I have a job currently work at a hardware store during the school year and might do construction this summer but I planned on doing the mechanical stuff first Tommorow I will update you guys on the gas tank and clutch install
