Went through he 8.1. Cleaned it up, new gaskets, new water pump, new PS pump, long tube headers, new starter, etc. Cleaned up the frame. Went through the wiring harness and removed unnecessary pins and cleaned up the harness. I'll be moving the battery to the driver's side. Cut the trans tunnel out before placing in the engine and trans. People say there is a boss that needs to be ground down, however I had no issue with putting the SBC mounts on. I did have to tap 2 holes on driver side of the engine where the mounts bolt up to. Converted the cam sensor to the 2004+ sensor with cover and new timing chain and sprockets. Wires ran for the alternator, battery, and for the wires running into he cab. Still have some of trucks harness to clean up. I ordered Dakota Digital HDX gauges. Working on modifying the stock trans cross member. The stock 8.1 PS pressure hose fit perfectly
