Got the first start. Got it idling smoothly now. Bought a pedal from a 6.5 diesel OBS and repinned one wire and have a working throttle pedal.
sent to autozone and found some radiator hoses that would work, had to trim them to fit.
Truck has no factory air. Went with vintage air. Have the condenser mounted up. Bought a high mount Sanden 508 kit from Amos P Garcia on youtube so I didnt have to cut the frame
Converted to hydroboost while I was at it. All oem square body lines run where they should. Pressure line screws into the back of the 8.1 PS pump
Waiting to put the fenders on after the rockers get replaced.
Fan shroud is from a 6.2 diesel square body. Radiator is a 34" wide core from a 1997 454 square body. Had to modify the upper radiator mounts to make it work.
Ep381 fuel pump fits right into the Fuel injection sending unit.
Engine oil cooler lines -10PTFE to build in oil cooler in radiator.
Trans cooler for the allison will be fitted soon with more -10 PTFE lines
Pcm and TCM not mounted, just resting on the fender for now
