Nice, and it's a 4 speed car. Factory 4 speed or converted?

Stock siganaw. Nothing to be excited about. Of course seller was claiming a muncie
They always claim Muncie. But those Saginaws aren't bad either. They'll tolerate some abuse. Probably even has better gear ratios. I'd imagine you probably Wee O Eights in the rear end huh? Some 3.42 or 3.73 would sure be nice for putting around town. Did you even find out of it's a true SS car?

Everything appears to show it as a true ss 4 speed car. Unless someone went to great lengths converting it when it was new. I bought basic rebuild kit with synchros for the siganaw, just need to tear it down

Ordered new shocks and helper air bags for the rear. I keep loading it up with dirt, but it keeps taking the abuse without much of a problem. If anybody has an extra mexican hat style hub cap, I am looking for one.

The whole car is crusty, but workable.

Trying to sort the wiring mess. Also needs to make an overflow bottle to work in it. Found the running rich problem, oil pressure gauge wire was connected to choke

I think one of the fusable links is blown. Checked two out of three last night, one left to verify. Found a ground wire has been added to a terminal on the cluster that is labeled as BATT. Probably not the best choice. And missing reading on BATT terminal in the fuse box.
Cleaned bulb contacts, swapped some around and tested. Also checked the guages and soldered the contacts as board overall a bit crusty.

Cluster appears to be mostly working now. Will check later today on the way to work. Have a patented g body warped or damaged cluster connector reinforcement bracket. Trimmed it a bit after the picture for the cluster to actually slide in. Oil pressure gauge appears to be bad as needle is stuck.

And not a good time to have a non working oil pressure gauge. Oil pressure switch is indicating low oil pressure at idle below 700rpm. But a c6 coolant jug made it under the hood.

I felt it being loose and thought could make it back home less than 1/4 of a mile and then it fell off. Should have stopped and walked back instead trying to drive back. The stupid mistake
