Success at last! Post after post and ordering a receiver that was supposed to fit, l ordered a receiver they said wouldn’t fit! Anyway, happy happy happy!!!
FYI:
Just to be clear this will fit on a stepside short bed?13401 comes up as:

Class 3 Trailer Hitch, 2" Receiver, Select GMC Jimmy, Chevrolet Blazer, K5 #13401

And what of the spare tire? Do you have spare tire pictures?

I have a glide out carrier, the picture shows the remaining mount for the carrier. Hogged out the other side, no spare tire, just to mount a bike rack. Not an exact fit, close as I could find, crazy eh? The front mounts go through existing holes, interference with bumper brackets on the rears, although your brackets look somehow different. Conventional carrier might fit.

So odd that there is not a standard part number. Stepsides are rarer than fleet but I would think there are more than enough to warrant making a proper part

Not available, maybe no longer in production I could understand. But crazy, right? The one listed as the proper fit, didn’t. Bought though Amazon, and at least it’s returnable. You might inquire at U-Haul, I had an appointment that I blew off after mounting the K5 hitch

5 pages later, what am I missing? Lots of squares have hitch receivers. I have one in the garage. What is the mystery?
